LDPE
Low‑density polyethylene stands out for its soft hand and clarity, making it ideal for precision films and protective wraps. Its flexibility allows it to stretch without tearing—perfect for shrink‑wrap, greenhouse covers, and extrusion tubing that must conform around irregular shapes. The material’s low friction surface also enables smooth operation in sliding seals and cable jackets.
Despite its softness, LDPE maintains decent tensile strength and resists cracking under repeated flexing at low temperatures. It also provides a very effective moisture barrier, which is why it’s favored in food‑grade liners, medical pouches, and moisture‑sensitive packaging.
