Polycarbonate is prized for combining glass‑like transparency with exceptional toughness and impact resistance, making it ideal for safety shields, traffic signals, and protective eyewear. Its high heat‑deflection temperature allows it to perform reliably in under‑hood automotive parts and industrial lighting housings.
Thanks to its inherent UV and weather resistance, PC endures prolonged outdoor exposure without yellowing or brittle failure. It can also be co‑extruded or coated for enhanced scratch resistance and anti‑fog properties, extending its use into greenhouse glazing and rugged electronic enclosures.
